Never do that! Make a shortcut on the desktop and after UCCNC.exe write /p profilename to start your profile. (Since 1.2114 when you switch profile the whole program restarts, so you can switch profile.)

Does anyone have an idea ? With a slaved y it really hard to use rhe machine without homing. Is it possibly a hardware issue, although I cannot see how since everything works including jog and g code . I just replaced some broken screws in the rails because of the gantry twisting. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We switched to the default profile that loads on start up. Now everything works fine. I know it sounds dumb but how do I save all my settings and rename this default profile that works?

Go to UCCNC\Profiles directory. Make a copy of "Default.pro" and rename it to e.g. "Sample.pro". Create a new directory and rename it to "Macro_Sample". On your desktop make a copy of the UCCNC shortcut. Rename it as you like, e.g. "Sample UCCNC". Right-click and edit properties. After UCCNC.exe write " /p Sample" to start your profile.
