Hey folks, could use a consult
My G31 probing has been bugging out.
It started acting oddly when I upgraded to the latest version of UCCNC. It either works perfectly (about 2/5 times) or as soon as I execute G31 it immediately ends without moving at all. It was as though it thinks the probe circuit was already complete the moment I made the probe command. According to the UCCNC diagnostics page my probing circuit is working perfectly. The virtual 'probe' LED only lights when it should. Despite this I've done many many tests on this and it's a complete roll of the dice whether G31 will work properly or not. I'll do 5 tests within 60 seconds, changing nothing, and will get 2/5 correct and 3/5 errors. This happens in my M31 macro as well as running G31 directly in the dialog.
I looked at my breakout boards and can see there is a tiny bit of bleed through all of my sensor circuits, enough to just barely light the LED on the BOBs. This hasn't ever been an issue, I have had no sensor issues from when I first installed this system a year ago. Probing only started to act up when I upgraded UCCNC to the latest version. I don't know, but it seems to be that perhaps the logic is a bit touchier and thinks the input has a completed circuit at a way lower voltage than before? If it is, this tiny bit of voltage is NOT enough to light the LED within UCCNC as far as it's displaying.
Are there G31 issues for anyone else with the update?
Any and all thoughts are very welcome, I appreciate it.
