New Software Install Question?

I have been using Mach3 for many years, But decided to try The UCCNC Software after purchasing a new Controller, AXBB-E.
Motors all configured properly, Limits, and E-Stop work good,
Not my Problem is I am ready to calibrate the Steppers, But I see NO WHERE to Enter my Units of Measure "Inches"
How do you actually tell the Motors how far to travel unless you set this first?

You can set the "step per units" parameter to tune the axis.
You can also set the "Calibrate" button to tune the axis based on movement and measurement and feedback.
You might want to set the acceleration to a low value and also the velocity to a low value initially to make sure your steppers can handle them, because if they are too high might cause motor stall so then you cannot make the tuning properly.

Thank you, Motors are running smoothly and calibrated right,,
Now My Laser is Not Firing, I have Output 17 enabled, on Port 1, but no go,,
So what other settings do I need for Laser pin to enable Laser Module,

Looks we are both starting our adventure at the same time.
I've just jumped from Mach 3 to UCCNC this weekend with an AXBB-E controller.
Amazed how smoothly this install went. UCCNC has a really logical setup.

I also added a Neje 30W laser today. O17 on port 1 was all I had to enable.

The laser had a small pcb so provided 12V+, 12V0 and a TTL wire from the O17 port. Separate 12V PSU
No joy at first, then I realised I had to link the 5V0 PSU on the AXBB-E to the 12V0 PSU. Tying the 0V together.

After this connection the laser worked and my first engraving followed.

Shaun, Thanks,, I just this Laser to Fire, it's a 40watt Atomstack, The Laser has been working fine with Mach3, But the actually control of the beam is Not too good with Mach3, It is Old Technology and doesn't work fast enough for Laser work.
I just made some more settings in the Spindle control part of the UCCNC And the Laser fired,,
So far I love the software, Will just have to learn it,, Hard to teach an Ole' Dog New Tricks,, LOL
