Fairly sure that won't be it but tried.

Made no difference.

Thanks for posting anyway.

So when B axis is slaved to Y the homing speed is 40% faster than set.

When B axis is not slaved to Y then Y axis homing speed is correct.

Out of curiosity I slaved B axis with X axis, and now X axis homing is 40% too fast.

I am reluctant to jump to the conclusion that this is a UCCNC problem, but I am lost to know what is causing this anomaly.

One way around would be to just set the homing speed to a lower speed to get it to go at the desired speed.

What concerns me is if this is something screwy in my profile, then maybe some other weird stuff may pop up and bite me.

Trying very hard to find what I have done wrong.

Another machine (plasma) running AXBB does exactly the same thing when slaving B to Y.

So to rule out something screwy in my profile, I set up a fresh profile from the default profile, using the default screenset.

And it displays the exact same homing speed issue.

I am very reluctant to call this a bug. As far as I know, no user has pointed this out before.

However I am all out of ideas.

After a week of frustration I have decided for my own sanity to call this a UCCNC bug.

At least then I can simply set slower homing speeds that will result in my desired homing speed and forget about it.

I am very ready to be proven wrong in that conclusion but for now it is a bug as far as I am concerned.

Hi Greolt
I was just wondering if you set the number to 1999 odd number instead of 2000 would that makea difference. Just a thought !

cheers

I have previously tried a lot of different speed settings. Same result.

However yours is one of only two that readers have suggested. So tried 1999.

Same result but thanks for taking the time to suggest it.

Treating this as a UCCNC bug puts it in the insignificant basket. With simple work around.

No longer thinking that I have some weirdness in my setup that is causing it.
