Saving zero points

Is it possible to save zero coordinates for future job steps?
Sometimes I need to interrupt and continue the very next day and of course I have to power off the system

Sounds as though you don't use homing switches? If that's the case you could park the machine at zero before shutting down. I have the 'go to park 2' button configured to go to G53 Z0, then G53 X0 Y0 before shutting down (even though I have homing switches, I still like to park the machine so it doesn't have to move at reduced rate for long, seeking the switches).
