Main Screen Tool Location Display

I used to be able to just view from the top down the programs motion on the main screen.

Now if I change it to show XY plane motion, everytime it hits the next line of code it changes to xz motion.

Now do I get it to stop changing the view?

This seems like a simple question but I've looked through all the settings and have finally resorted to asking here.

I watchwd the video and i still dont understand what the problem is.
Could you please describe it in writting?

When I am watching the program run and I try to change the viewpoint on the screen to XY once the next line of code processes it automatically switches to XZ.
