axbb-e help

okay i know for some of you veterans this may seem like childs play but im seriously starting to have nightmares about the manual to this board. i took a running omni 1325 with a pmdx-126 board with a pmdx-107 spindle board and possibly stupidly decided to convert it to this board, really wanted uccnc plus was having data communication drops every now and then. so anyway got it running with a wall 5 volt supply and a 24 volt supply (not sure if i needed that one or not), after a lot of tinkering got all the axis working fine. problems i am running into is the switches (inductive type)(they light red when any metal object is passed near them, so they work but just don't signal) and getting the vfd wired in (get no motor output so far)
so first the wires that come to the board on inputs are a 5v, black (cut), orange (c-se), white (z-se), black and a blue wire (gnd), yellow (x-se), green (y-se) this was all the input wires, mach 3 side they were hooked to pins 10, 11, and 12 active low. i cannot figure what the correct use on the axbbe board would be as its not the same.
the spindle has red wire (b) which was hooked to run on the 107, a black (com) was hooked to com on 107, a red (aoi) was hooked to aout on 107, and a black (ao) was hooked to a ground on 107. i tried black (ao) to 5v0, black (com) to isolated port 01, red (aoi) to aoi anolog out, red (b) to isolated port 2. thought this would be correct from what i have read. anyone that has a similar setup which would share wire out pics or drawings and software settings for uccnc would love some help starting to get pretty frustrated. im not a total noob at software or research but have to admit i need help, thanks in advance

The sensors. Connect power out 5V+ to I1+, I2+, I3+ and I4+. Also connect:

Code: Select all
AXBB-E             Cables
-------------------------------
Power out 5V+      5V
Power out 5V0      GND
I1-                X-SE, Y-SE
I2-                Z-SE
I3-                C-SE
I4-                CUT

The VFD. I think the following will work, but it would be better to see the other end of the cables too and also to know the exact type of the VFD.

Code: Select all
AXBB-E             Cables
-------------------------------
Power out 5V0      COM, 0V
any of O2 to O8    B
AO1                10V

O1 output pin is a charge pump controlled output, so you cannot use it as a normal output (see manual).

THANKS GREATLY FOR CHIMING IN
okay first tried your suggestions some wins and some losses, first got all the switches working, at first same issue the pins would not save over to port 3 then i realized you don't enter 11,12, 13, ect. you enter 1, 2, 3, 4 and that worked, couple
small adjustments and all are firing perfect, only issue left is im sure a software one, we i go to home all it hits the first limit switch and kills all movement with an emergency stop instead of backing off and going to the next limit switch ? i actually did it perfect once so i rechecked it moving it away from all limits and tried again this time was killed on first move ? any ideas highly appreciated. also what is the cut wire i assume emergency stop ?
now to the spindle wired as directed now the spindle will not engage at all, not sure if this could be a setting in software think before i had com wired into the 24vo input. also i removed the jumper not sure if i should put it back ?
finally i have a taizhou fuling vfd if i need certain settings in there let me know, like i stated before i had speed control in mach 3 with the pmdx-126 bob and pmd 107 spindle board so would assume settings would be good.
well at least were making progress on this, sure the limit homing is something simple. i can take a pic of the wires going into the vfd if that would help ?
i did order an rs45 adapter in case all else fails.

Yes, the photo of the VFD wiring also helps a bit.

Go to diagnostics and test the limit switches one by one then write here the results. Then I can help you how to configure the axes.

actually around 3am last night got the machine homing successfully, still getting some random limit stops popping up ? so now down to the spindle, ill get a couple pics in a second and send them, also does uccnc have a built in probe button or does it have to be added and on that note since you know all my wires which one should be set as probe the probe on this machine is built in and permently attached to the spindle. get a couple good pics in a min. thanks again for all the help i assure you when i get this done ill buy a few more things from you guys just to make up for the trouble and im more than willing to pay a support fee if needed.

okay a little update, the probe wire on this machine seems to be wire "cut", so i configured it in the inputs as such i originally had it as e-stop so pretty sure that was grounding and causing the stop limits going on and off. so the probe seems to want to work but travels z in the wrong direction and somewhere i assume there is a way to set the thickness of the probe ? i tried to configure the built in plugin but won't let me open the configuration.

update 293 ;) , so down to just getting the spindle programmed and working, first the only wire i moved from what you suggested was the com wire which i put on the 24v ground input terminal, no other ground will do anything. when wired that way the spindle starts on command goes to full power and stays, i can shut it down and start it by uccnc but have no speed control. so i think if we can figure this out were good. most of the wiring ive seen on other board has the v1 hooking to a bob with a digital out and ground next to each other, not sure if thats what we need to figure out ?
thanks again

Sorry, that was my mistake. I checked if 24V0 and 5V0 is connected, realized that they are not, than wrote it wrong.

ACM goes to 5V0 and VI to AO1. Follow the cable, because the 10V writting is confusing. And leave the jumper on the AXBB to get 10V output.
