What if.... We utilized a webcam either above the table or attached to the gantry that could be fed to the tool path screen to provide a real time visual layout for alignment or positioning?

Cool idea, but in my opinion it is overcomplicating things with more things which can go wrong and may cause problems. For fun is OK, but I don't see any long term use for it. If I want to remotely supervise the machine I just rig up a wireless camera and supervise in a separate app or even a separate PC or phone.
