Problems configuring Home pins and Limit pins

Postby pfrosal » Mon Apr 26, 2021 11:45 am

Hi everyone,
I tried to look in the forum if other people had had this annoying problem, you will forgive me if I missed some topics.
I'll explain my problem to you. I bought a UC400ETH card, two UCSBs (for maximum expansion), the respective connection cables for the two ports and the UCCNC license.
I do the wiring, install the program, the ethernet connection works fine and communicates between the control board and the laptop.
The laptop mounts windows 7 64 bit with all the updates made.
I start to configure the axes, inserting the pins dedicated to "pulse" and "direction" and calibrate the three axes.
So far everything was perfect.
My problem comes now, when configuring the input pins for HOME and LIMIT +.
For the use limits of the microswitches (NC) connected to the + 24V and the + IN of the UC400ETH board, while the 0V is connected to the -IN (referred to the 24V power supply) as described in the manual. In the diagnostics page, by pressing the various microswitches I see the LEDs switch off and on, then the signals are correctly received by the board and the PC.
Here is the problem.
In the page of each axis, the pins of HOME and Limit + are at 0 as well as the port.
I change the value of the Home, for example the septum to 1 and brings 1, when I press "Apply Settings" the values of Home and limit return to 0. Same thing on the other two axes.
Where am I wrong?
Thank you in advance for the suggestions you can give me.
regards

You must hit Enter after entering the numbers.
And, Inputs can only be pins 10,11,12,13, and 15. If you try one of those numbers, does it then work?

Hi Gerry,

Thank you very much for your suggestions.

Now it's all ok. Now works perfectly.

All inputs on both UCSB boards are recognized and correctly associated with the required functions.
From the Diagnostics page of UCCNC I can see on the left the input status detected by the UCSB cards and in the central part the status associated with the input pin with the program function.

Thanks again for your kindness.
