I think you want your O1 and O2 to be the M3 and M4 (basically on/off for each direction)

And for the analog I think all you have to do is toggle analog ch1 as spindle PWM on the 'i/o' setup page (I don't have an AXBB, but it should be just like UC300...)

you may have to swap the active low, and you'll probably have to play with spindle speed control settings to get proper speeds for a given command

when i enter those numbers and press enter . looks like everything is ok till i click apply
then it reverts to zero .

If an I/O reverts to zero on apply/save is because the I/O you trying to set does not exist or you trying to assign an input pin to an output function or an output pin to an input function.
The software verifies if your setting is correct and if not then it zeros out the setting so you will be aware that what you tried to setup is wrong.

i have no idea what to do from here . i just want to use my machine .
i got the x y and z to move but thats it .

nothing else works . micro switches , emrg stop button , spindle , probe ...
non works the way i hooked up in the list i showed ...

have no idea how to configure the stuff....

as far as the micro switches im starting to think that they have to have 24v on them . but i dont understand docs .
i think the way they are wired is to ground . and me hooking them to ix- pins is not working . but dont know

i think my estop button was originally a ground also but not sure .

can someone please help .

as you can see . i have exactly
what i listed here hooked up ....

there is no extra wires left from my original setup .

There are nice drawings in the AXBB-E about how to connect machanical limit switches.
As the AXBB-E inputs are optocouplers with the anode and cathode wired out, the input will ofcourse not work if you connecting only one side of the input, the + or -.
You need to wire both sides of the inputs always to run current through the optocoupler of the input. It is described in the users manual under point 9.3 how to connect different limit switches.
The switch can be NC (normally closed) which you can wire up in series or they can be NO (Normally open) which you can wire up in parallel.
Ofcoure both switch types you could connect to individual inputs also.
It is up to you how you want to connect them.

And you will know if the input works, because all inputs have LEDs on the AXBB-E, so you can see if the LED lights or not.

i have no idea what a optocoupler is . or stuff your describing . i just want to switch to uccnc and not mach3 . did not want to learn to build cnc machines .

i have no idea how the existing switches are wired and may short something if i apply voltage to them .

sounds like i need to rip out all this stuff and go back to mach3 .. as im lost .

got spindle working . but rpms are incorrect ....

A limit switch has 2 poles, it switching through a Voltage.
The question is what your limit switches are switching through?
You could switch through the +24Volts and then you connect the limit switch wire to the Input+ and connect the 24V0 (ground of the 24V PSU) to the Input-
Or you could switch through the 24V0 and then you connect the limit switch wire to the Input- and connect the +24V to the Input+

Both method works and both are drawn and described in the AXBB-E manual.

ok i got all axis working except a-axis . have not attempted .
got home switches or limit switches ... not sure which they are . they are working right now as home switches .
the limit switches on this machine is 6 micro switches for the 3 axis .

1 wire common to both switches on one pole example z- and z+ both use same wire one pole .
the other wire on all switches are all wired to 24v0

so im not sure if i can use these as limit switches or not ?

i have the probe now working also .

and the emergency stop button .

i have homed all axis and it works

the spindle works . but i can tell its not running at the speeds i set it to. not sure what needs to be configured for that .
i remember having to do some kind of motor tuning in mach3 ... not sure if this is something in uccnc or not .

getting there !

also have my WHB04B-6 working as well .

i have noticed every time i close uccnc i get this error .

i have noticed that the spindle while running will only run like 3-5 secs and stop
with ext e-stop triggered.

The exception is probably caused by a plugin.
However I do not see the exception text, but you mentioned that you using the WHB04 pendant, probably it's plugin is causing it.
Try to temporarily disable the plugin and check if the exception still occurs. If it does not occur then report the issue to the developer of the plugin (Shed : Andrew) on this forum.

The spindle you have to setup on the spindle settings page.
You have to set the PWM min./max. and the spindle speed min/max.
The software scales the spindle speed min./max. (it is the S parameter range you can program) to the PWM min./max.
So, for example the spindle speed min/maxs is 0/24000 RPM and you configuring 0/100% PWM then if you programming S0 then the PWM is 0 and if you programming S12000 then it is 50% and if you programming S24000 then it is 100%.
The analog Voltage is proportional to that %.

If you getting an ext. limit switch trigger when you running the spindle then the spindle is generating EMI noise which the limit switch wires picking up.
You can filter this noise using the Inputs debounce filter setting in the UCCNC. Try to set them to 20-30msec or so, then the controller will filter out all short noise like pulses which are shorter than the time constant of the debounce filter.
