Not Windows 10, but your security settings, either in Windows, AV software, or browser.
Most people these days are using Windows 10, and have no trouble downloading.

It's sad to see that it's true. Again. Windows 10, factory settings, full updated, Edge (Chromium)... I've reported as safe download.

You can download the file in several ways, it's not a problem. The problem is that Microsoft Defender registers the UCCNC installation file as a malicious application even though it shouldn't.
This has happened before.

Virustotal says 0 positive for the 1.2113 installer application.
I've attached the results of the virus scan.

you should not have any type of virus scanner or communication blocking software on a system
running something critical like cnc as it can cause random things to happen when in use .

I think that's a far too generalizing statement. I run anti virus system and never had issues with it, except some times when I try to install something. Once installed, it runs without issues.
