Softlimit reached dialog disable

Hi there,

When I jog the machine, either using the keyboard or the wireless pendant I get a dialog:
"A machine axis position software limit was reached. The axis was now stopped."

This is annoying because the jogging by keyboad can only continue after the dialog is dismissed.

Is there a setting where I can disable this dialog?

You can turn off soft limits on the general settings page, but if it's on then the message will appear.

Yes, I realize that I can disable the soft limits. But than I miss functionality.
My point is that when soft limits are enabled it's not possible to JOG the machine up to the soft limits and continue normally, you always have to dismiss the dialog. This prevents normal continuation.

What I would like to see is that UCNC get's a feature where the dialog can be disabled.
From my point of view it would be fine to get a line in the "Statusmessage". Alternatively a sound notification would be enough.

Good call, a status message and a sound would be ideal.

You can disable the message box for soft limits, there's a checkbox on the 'appearance' tab.

You won't get a beep or a status message, the axis will just gracefully stop, and you can jog away from the soft limit without having to close the message box if you disable the checkbox.
