Post Processor for FreeCad

I'm trying to get away from Fusion360 and have been learning to use FreeCad instead. So far, for the simple things I design and make, it's very good. FreeCad has a CAM component as well (Path Workbench) that is becoming very good too and they are getting better with every new release. For a hobbyist like me, or even a small business it's quite powerful.

I DO NOT have the education or experience to know how specific post-processors are designed. They sure seem pretty specific to the machines or the software running the machines. However, I know that UCCNC will run using the g-code from the Mach3 post-processor on Aspire... for Fusion360 I used the StepCraft UCCNC post-processor and it seemed to work well.

FreeCad has a post-processor for Mach3/4 and also for LinuxCNC. Should I run one of these, or try to get a specific post-processor created for UCCNC? I just don't have the knowledge base to know the difference between a post-processer written for one software vs. another.

I'm sure you folks will help educate me.

I'd try out the Mach3/4 post, and open it in UCCNC. UCCNC is good about scrubbing the gcode on load, and warning you if there is any codes it won't support or are incorrectly interpreted.
