UB1 PWM Spindle wiring help please

Postby SMITYP116 » Fri Oct 09, 2020 11:10 pm

Hi Guys,

I'm looking for a bit of help with wiring up my spindle to my UB1

I'm looking to use PWM on the UB1 board.

My understanding is the following:

10v from the VFD - AH1 on the UB1
0v From the VFD - AL1 on the UB1
AO1 from the UB1 - AI on the VFD

In the UCCNC manual p24 it states the PWM software setup should be pin 1 Port 4. Is this correct for the above wiring? if so I'm confused as to why its port 4 as AH1,AL1 and AO1 are marked as port 3 on the board?

I'm sure I'm just missing something here.

Thanks Paul

Yes, it's correct.
I don't see anything that says the analog pins are part of port 3. And they aren't, as they have nothing to do with port 3 of the UC300ETH. They are part of the speed control circuit.

Thanks Ger21. Appreciate your reply. I was assuming they were on port 3 as its got CN3 next to it. Think this is whats confused me.

Thanks

CN3 is not port 3, it's the 3rd row or group of terminals.
