UC400ETH change ownership

Hi. I have bought from a friend a motion controller UC400ETH he did send me a copy of the license I have install it work ok but it is still register to his name, is it possible to change the registration to my name

Hi,

It does not matters what name is on the license key, because the license key only works with the motion controller with the serial number the license key was created for.
So, only who has that motion controller can use the license key and therefor it does not matter what name is on the license.
Distributors often using their company name, some using serial numbers even for the name.

We not re-generating license keys just to change the name, because as I said it does not matter what name is on it and it would be too much work as there are now tens of thousands of motion controllers out there at users.
