Hi Smelton

I'm reffering to the license file that cnc drive send you when you purchase the the uccnc software. I'm not sure but I think you have to pay a bit extra over the cost of the hardware. I got mine on a special offer a while ago, but uccnc is pretty cheap considering how good it is. (it got my cnc machine working in no time at all after idly sitting around in my workshop gathering dust for years because I couldn't figure out the software that came with my machine)
Cheers

Ok it sounds like I might have to purchase a licence for UCCNC and try that. This still doesn’t help me figure out why I can’t get Mach4 working though, and I’m hoping whatever problem exists doesn’t stop me from using UCCNC.

I will post back with an update soon. Thanks for the help.

Hi all.
Was there a resolution to this problem?
I am having an identical problem setting up an AXBB-E with Mach3.
It doesn't seem to be a comms issue - On opening Mach3, it recognizes the AXBB-E and identifies the driver as out of date - on clicking update, The firmware fails to update and I'm getting and error code 4 on reported failure.
Was the solution to ditch Mach and go with UCCNC? I'd prefer to stick with mach3.
Thanks

Try to disable the DHCP in the AXBB-E ethernet settings using the UCx00 utility tool.

There is no problem. I switch between Mach3 and UCCNC firmware all the time.
As CNC Drive said, it's likely a networking issue.
