Hello!
I have built plywood router for machining wood and aluminium, and it have been working good, except couple of issues.
1. It's losing steps and the problem is chinese usb motion controller, or TB6600, both are going to be replaced. I'm buying axbb-e controller with UCCNC
and leadshine EM806.
2. Lasering is kinda tricky right now.. I have arduino to translate XY speed to laser pwm power, but still it lags some amount between first moves and when laser turns on. I was wondering if Axbb-e and UCCNC have full support for XY speed related to laser vector cutting speed. And I mean real, no lag syncronisation. raster engraving seems to work ok with UCCNC based on videos I have seen online.
Also, my last laser was bad and diode burned out. I was thinking if I wired it right, AC->PSU 12v->laser diode arduino pwm->laser 5v pwm input. Could it be problem that my 24v psu and 5v psu are grounded to same?
Is there somethinge else I have to consider?'
Bit of messy post..
