speed in air

Postby BJB » Tue Mar 24, 2020 11:14 am

Wonder is anyone can help. Is it possible to reduce the speed in the air of the spindle and also is it possible to change the default jog speed from 10 to 40.
Thanks and i wish everyone is staying safe in these troubling times.

The jog speed can be changed on the jog flyout panel on the left.

I don't know what you mean about the air speed in the spindle??

Thanks, I know about the jog speed on the fly out, i meant is there a way to change it so it always starts at 40 instead of 10.
with regards to the air speed, i meant when carving the spindle goes from one point to another in the air off the surface, I don't know if i adjust that speed on the software Aspire or on UCCNC
Thanks for any help

There's typically no control over rpm during rapid moves, but you could edit your post processor to do it. But that would be a lot of speed changes for no real reason.

I need to look deeper into the jog speed issue, but don't have time right now.
