MDI Commands

Postby wjbzone » Sat Mar 07, 2020 7:53 pm

When using MDI commands. I like to type multiple commands without using the mouse to get back into the MDI text box.

If I position my mouse cursor over the MDI box, hitting the enter key will put the text cursor in the MDI box. If I don't move the mouse the cursor should stay hovered over the MDI box and I can just hit the enter key again to begin my next MDI command.

If I use the arrow down key to repeat a previous MDI command, the position of the cursor (that was hovered over the MDI box) moves and I have to use the mouse again to get back to the MDI box.

Is there a keyboard key that gets me into the MDI box on the run screen (without using the mouse)?

The Enter key always activates the MDI box for me, regardless of mouse position or what other keys I use.

I don't know why, but sometimes the enter key will not activate it for me. I was just assuming I had to have the cursor over the box.

It won't activate if any motion is in progress. Maybe that's why?
