Wiring for NPN Proxy Switch UCBB1

Postby RocketReynolds » Wed Feb 26, 2020 10:32 pm

Evening all,

I'm hoping someone can help with wiring up a Proxy switch to a UCBB1. I believe I have wired it correctly as per the manual. Should an LED on the BB light up when the switch is triggered?

The switch is an NPN NO type. The wires are Brown +ve, Blue -ve and Black for the output. I am using input I10- and I10+ I have the Brown on I10+ and connected to 24V. I have the Black on I10- and the Blue to 0v.

I don't have my UC300 or computer attached, I'm just starting to lay out my enclosure and wanted to start going through the wiring.

Many thanks

Mike

Hello Mike,

No. The LED is on the controller side of the UCBB1, so without the UC300 (or an external 5V input) the input LEDs won't light.
