AXBB-E Ready LED

Postby Phil1322 » Sun Jan 19, 2020 8:31 pm

Hello everyone a newbie here building my own CNC Router. I feel like everytime I make a step closer to fishing I come into a new problem and end up 3 steps further back :( ...Basically I had everything wired up and working through UCCNC for test purposes apart from the Spindle, I still haven't managed to work out how to get this wired up properly to work through UCCNC, but I can use it via the VFD Panel...I've got help from another forum and so I planned on trying to work this out. after wiring the VFD up, (how I understood it to be wired up,) I turned everything back on to test and now the 'Ready LED' on the AXBB-E doesn't light up, the only light that now comes on is the 24v light the Red 'Power Fault' LED doesn't come on either so I dont know if its broke or I've missed something, I've taken all wires out and just wired it up with the 24v and 5v power to see if that helps but still nothing other than the 24v Light turns on...??

Any help would be great, I really hope it's not broke but I admit wiring isn't my strong point so I may of misunderstood the help I got from the other forum and fried my board...??

Cheers,

Phil

I've been reading the AXBBE PDF and noticed there's a Reset button on it so I'm going to try and see if that helps once I get back from work later on, in the meantime if anyone has any other ideas please let me know.

Still no luck after pressing the reset button, I actually had to remove the outer casing to get to the button as it wasn't visible and didn't line up with the hole. I'm guessing as there's been no replies no one else has had/seen this issue before? I'm surprised no one from CNCdrive has come back, I would of thought thay would have seen this issue before... I think I'm going to have to get a new board and licence, a bit gutted but it's my own fault...

If there is no ready LED when the 5Volts is connected then the device is damaged and is not working anymore.
