I have down loaded the most recent UCCNC.zip posting on this forum. I am unable to successfully load 1.2112 onto Win10 or Win7 machines. When installing UCCNC app as 'administrator' I receive an error stating UCCNC has stopped working...it does not load at all. I have been using UCCNC with the 2017 screen set, and would like to look over the beta 1.2112 release. Thanx.

I'm a new user from UCCNC after years on Ninos a french software ( very powerfull but no more maintained..)

I chose UCCNC which seems to give quite the same features on machine and Gcode management

testing the new screenset and 1.2112 version

first a question: i see on this topic that some zip files are sent to test. Is the version downloadable on http://www.cncdrive.com/UCCNC/setup_1.2112.exe include all theses modification when they are validated ?

As an great user of web cam zeroing, just two observation:

- The camera X and Y offset are not memorized when you shut the software. as fixed data, it would be convenient not to have to enter them at each use.

- A zoom function would be very convenient: depending of your cam, a great zooming help to get an accurate zeroing. i must came back to the old pluging, because i can resized full screen to get higher accuracy.

I have looked for where to type in the thickness of my Z probe.
I have been using the 2017 screenset until now, and I do not find the same Z probe screen in this new one.

Found another way to do the probing, used the M31 provided by Peter Pasuello, works like a charm

The 2017 Screenset **should** work OK with 1.2112. You just won't have access to the newer features.

I haven't tried it with a machine, though, so proceed with caution.
