v1.2112 how to use old profile and new screenset

Just downloaded and installed the latest v1.2112 , looks good BUT

I installed it over my previous install , and when I try to load my old working profile it says reloading as a different screenset , then loads and comes up as demo mode with the old screenset.

1 . how to I get it out of demo mode ? - its not in demo mode when starting with default profile
2 . how do I get the new screenset to be used with my old profile - I have no wish to try and redo all my pin /keyboard/macro assignments ?
3. If I want to revert back to my old screenset is that a simple process , can I save the profile with a different name and different screensets ? how ?

looks to be a good update , just not sure on the screenset yet - it may grow on me

Just got worse , had a job to do so copied over my old backup uccnc folder and deleted the new one , system will not start up in anything other than demo mode even with the old software reinstalled
- looks like Im screwed for this weekend job

Do you get a "no valid license key found" message on the software startup?
If yes then your license key file is not in place.
If not then it has nothing to do with the license key, but your computer is not seeing the motion controller at all.

Did a complete flush of every uccnc folder off my hard drive , fresh install with v2.112 and copied my licence key from a thumbdrive .

Got it working again

then copied my profile across from my thumbdrive. - it loaded up and went through a reboot and came up with the new screenset , went into the new appearenc tab and tried to change the screenset back to the old default , click on the default screenset and then click on select - nothing happens ?

At least I am back working and it forces me to use the new screnset - maybe not a bad thing

As written in the screenset selector window you have to restart the software after you selected another screen for it to load.
It will not just load while you already running the software. You have to close the software and run it again and then the newly selected screenset will load.

Did that , and didnt change , maybe I closed it down and restarted wrong - maybe it should be made to do a restart on selecting it ? or even a popup window ?

You just have to select the screenset name in the Listbox, then press the Select button and then close the software and restart it.
What the screen selector does is it simply changes the following key in the currently loaded profile file to the selected screenset name:
