AXBB-E - VFD Wiring Help

Hi.

Ok, I am in front of the CNC Now, I have tested a number of things with the meter.

Tested both 24v & 5V Power supplies, they are outputting the correct voltages and are grounded well.

However, when testing the voltage between 5V0 & AO1 - the highest I have seen is 0.07.. It does fluctuate when moving the SRO slider, but barely, So I am assuming that is the issue here?

With your settings the controller should output 0v at M3S10 or below is programmed and will output the maximum setting (5V or 10V depending on the jumper setting inside the AXBB-E) when M3S15000 or higher is programmed.

Thanks for the info, That makes some sense, Now if I program to S100, I can get 4.8v But thats the highest I can measure, The jumper is removed inside.

And what is the voltage with jumper on?

With the jumper on, and the range set at 10-10000 in the velocity setting, S10000 gets me 9.88V.

How is that the case? As I thought the jumper being off made it 0-10V?

I Have been through every setting on the VFD, And set it accordingly to the V1 terminal, set all the lower and upper limits etc, yet whenever I run the VFD, it simply spins the motor at full power and does not respond.

Starting to lose the will here as I just cannot see any settings I haven't already tried.

I have two manuals, and they are different in regards to the jumper setting. Apparently, On = 0-10V.
This means that UCCNC is working correctly.
Now you have to configure the VFD parameters.

Check and post all the parameters I mentioned in my previous post.

I have been through all the mentioned settings on the VFD and many more, referencing them to the manual in order to set it up for the VI input but I cannot get it to respond in terms of changing speed, I have also tried the same with the AI port just incase that was the one nut with the same results unfortunately,

I feel like I'm banging my head against a wall with it currently. Just spending hours going round in circles.

I appreciate all the help but I am not sure what else to try now.

You really should post all the settings here. Just because you think they are correct, doesn't mean that they are.
Based on the manual, this VFD is fairly complex.
You might want to contact the manufacturer for help, asking what parameters need to be set for external 0-10V speed control.

If i'm honest i'm not sure where to start, there are so many settings that seem relevant.

I understand what you are saying, another set of eyes is always a good thing,

I will have to see if I get chance to write them all down at some point, its a very laborious task getting the info from the VFD.
