Huayang vfd problems

Postby Can77 » Wed Jun 26, 2019 6:41 pm

Hi
I'm a newbie and have been trying to get my workbee to run.
I've got an axbb_e motion card and use a rs485 connection for the vfd.

I managed to set the huayang vfd according to the settings below.

Tried the hyplugin 14 without luck, switched to v12 and it worked.
The problem is that a few seconds after I start the spindle the spindle stops. Uccnc displays message limit switch or/and motor reset. Can not wrap my head around it. Am I missing something (probably).

Sounds like noise from the VFD is triggering the limit switch inputs.

Thanks for the tip.

Disconnected the switches. Worked like a charm!
Will set them to NC and see if it solves it.

Hi all,
i agree with Ger21, it's VFD noise. I had the same problem with mach 3 when i first installed my CNC.
All was working fine until the VFD was running. I solved the problem by putting a ferrite bead (that was lying in the workshop) on the spindle cable, near the VFD.
After that, no more problems ! Cheap and efficient fixx !
As i had another one lying, i've put it near the first, just in case .... :D
