Spindle over Relais

I was trying to use my Kress 1050 Spindle to switch on over a solid state relais.
Unfortunately it was not working good. The Spindle was starting and stop the whole time.

Can I use one of the outputs of the uc300eth-5lpt ?
Or how can I make it work?

A Kress spindle requires solid mains input voltage, it's RPM is not controllable with a PWM.
Also a solid state realy is a slow device, can't throughput high frequency PWMs, it switches on the mains zero crossing.

So, the question is how did you control the Kress spindle?
With what signal in the UCCNC?

What you could use is for example the M3 spindle relay output to turn the spindle on/off with M3/M5 commands.

Yes the Kress becomes 230V AC. With the Relais I can controll one phase. If the Relais switched by 5V DC the phase is at the Kress and the Kress is on.
The question is how can I controll the Relay. Are the output ports of Uc300eth-5lpt strong enough?

With the UCCNC Software I'll use the m3/5 commands.

Don't use solid state relays, get a cheap BOB and connect real relays to control on/off.

The UC300ETH-5LPT digital outputs all have 74HC14 buffer inverter chips which can sink/source 20mAmpers per outputs.
You should check how much current does your SSR opto input sinks or sources (depends on how you connect the signal to the input opto) from the input signal at 5Volts input voltage.
Probably it will require much less than 20mAmps, but it is better to check.

Couple of things to be aware of with SSR's....

they are not recommended for inductive loads (top of the datasheet).

It is recommended that you add a snubber circuit because of the way that current lags voltage in an inductive load circuit I believe

That one is rated at 10A (~2.2kW resistive load!!), if you're on a 220v system.... hence the Kress 1050 is about 1/2 the current rating of the SSR... the recomendation in the omron guide tends to be motors can expect a 5 to 10x inrush current, hence your SSR is under rated

But you are ok for DC side 5v switching current which should be ~10mA at 5v from the datasheet

Really a relay / contactor is recommended for motors (or a VFD or a triac circuit designed for inductive motors such as the superPID for routers)
