Weird Arc behaviour

Postby marben » Thu May 23, 2019 2:49 pm

Anyone have any idea why this happens?
The outer cut consists of 7 stepdowns, the 6 first are weird like in the picture, but the last one is a perfect arc.

I have tried using uccnc post prossessor and also mach3 with same result, And I cannot see anything wrong in the code.

This is the code for the outer cut in question:

it displays and runs fine here.
if its displaying correctly on screen in uccnc toolpath but not cutting correctly it must be your cv settings are way off ?

It looks good on the screen and in simulation.
I use the default cv settings that came with uccnc. What would be "normal" cv settings and what needs to be considered when setting them?

It is odd though that the other 3 arc's cut ok with these same settings.

I've tried that with same result only more jerky.

What's even more odd is that on the final depth cut it cuts a perfect arc.
