THC input setup

I know I must be doing something stupid. Been staring at this for an hour.

Trying to setup inputs and outputs for plasma THC.

I set the input pins and ports on the "General Settings Page 1"

Arc on pin: 11 port: 2
THC up pin: 12 port: 2
THC down pin: 13 port: 2

When clicking apply, they default back to zero.

Obviously I am missing something.

In the PDF manual that I have, the THC section of the "General Settings" written explanation, is just missing. (page 27/82)

Is there a Plasma version of the manual?

It is because there are no such pins as port#2 pin 11., 12. and 13.
Port#2 contains 6 pins 1. to 6.

OK I get it.

The AXXB labels pins as I1 I2 I3 etc.

Silly me thought they were 11 12 13 etc

The PDF manual that I have on pages 27/82 - 30/82 has an explanation for
every setting on that page but then skips the THC section altogether.

Is there anything to read re THC inputs etc?

Just define the three pins in the config screen that you want to use for up, DN and arcOK

Hi Greg,

I think that you will understand the different parameters if you read pages 61/62 of the UCCNC manual which describes the THC macros.
The function names are the same in the settings, so you can put things together.

And yes, it seems to be that you're right that the THC settings in the settings section really missing from the manual.
I will try to do something about that for the next release.

Yes that bit is straight forward but I think a section in the manual on those other THC settings is a reasonable expectation.

Anyway I have the AXXB all installed and set to go on the plasma.

The sad part is, I now have a Z axis stepper with a shorted winding which then blew the driver.

So now I have to wait for new components to arrive.
