UC400ETH - best BOB?

I'm in the process of changing from Mach3 to UCCNC and upgrading all of my electronics on my CNC lathe. I just purchased a UC400ETH controller and trying to decide between a PMDX 126 or a CNC4PC C32 dual port BOB. I am planning on using dual MPG's for X and Z so I think that I'll need a dual port BOB unless there is another way of using two MPG's. Any suggestion would be most appreciated. Bob

I think that these BOBs can't fully work with the UC400ETH, because as far as I know they both expect the second port to be an input type port where the low 8 bits (pins 2-9.) are inputs,
while the UC400ETH has a standard LPT port pinout on both ports, so the pins 2-9. are outputs on both 2 ports.
So, probably the best option is to use 2 separated BOBs which interfaces to one-one standard pinout port.

The UCCNC has all functions configurable to any pins with ofcourse the restriction that input pins are assignable only to input type functions and output pins are assignable only to output type functions.
So, because the functions are freely configurable to pins it does not matter if you using two separate BOBs.
But the UCCNC currently supports one MPG encoder wheel only. (If the question is about that?!)
So, you can have only one wheel and the axis for the MPG are selectable via input triggers, so you can select for example the X axis and then when you move the wheel then the X axis will move and you can select the Y axis and then the Y axis will move and so on. But you can configure only one MPG wheel currently, the software does not support a second and third etc. wheels.

Thanks, I guess I will abandon my plans of using the UC400ETH on my lathe and use it on my Mill instead. I have been told that the UC300ETH can support multi MPG's so I will look into that avenue. Bob
