The AXBB is cool, because it has all high speed optocouplers HCPL2631 and power Mosfets on the isolated outputs, so you can drive relays and you can also use them to drive step/dir or laser etc. signals which require fast transmittion.
And the same type HCPL2631 are on the isolated inputs, so they can throughput high speed signals, even incremental encoders can be connected to the isolated inputs.
And you also have port#3 which is an extension port with standard printer port pinout, so you can connect an additional BOB to it and/or more drives and switches and sensors and buttons and relays etc.
