OK, thanks. What kind of break out board do you use on port 2 and port 3, and how are the sensors connected? (Sorry about the lots of questions, but I need these infos to find out what happens to your machine.)

Hello,

I use two HDBB2 as breaking boards.
I use the two probe ports, the stepcraft 3D touch is normally closed, and the simple sensitive pad is normally open. You can deduce with the configuration how they are connected.
The HDBB2's use separate dedicated 12V and 5V power supply. This box (UC300ETH + 2xHDBB2 + One relay board + 12V + 5V) got his own EMI Filter.
The VFD is switched off during test, but that one got his own "expensive" 3 stages EMI filter.
All cables are shielded, and the shield is mostly connected to ground on one side only, to prevent currents flowing thru the shields.
There is a big dedicated ground point stucked in the soil close to the CNC.
There is an additional dedicated ethernet board in the PC, with a single RJ45 cable connecting the UC300 to the PC. No switch and no interaction with the LAN.
BTW, yesterday i managed 2 jobs without any pendant (usb key removed, and de-activated drivers) : almost 180 times G31 with no trouble.

I show you that on a video soon...

Thank you for the detailed info. I'll test it only the next week when a UCR201 arrives. I'll be back with the results soon.

Not really. :( I haven't got the UCR201 yet. Maybe, next week, but I'm not sure, sorry.
