I don't post much on here but closely follow the forum daily.

I'm all for Ger21 to act as a moderator. Ger has helped me out in the past many times with his screenset and has moderator experience from the Mach3 forum. Being a moderator requires being tolerant of other's without taking it personal. Unfortunately as we all know email has it's issues and be easily misinterpreted so being thin skinned is not a good quality in a moderator. Disagreement done in a constructive respectful manner is good to foster new ideas.

We all aren't gcode or cnc experts... this forum is a great place for help especially for the inexperienced. Members and UCCNC people such as Balazs are always willing to help no matter how simple the question is and the information is an invaluable reference source. I've looked back at older posting many times and found answers to problems.

Terry deleting all his postings shows he's not interested in sharing his knowledge or being a part of the UCCNC community which is too bad. Sorry for getting long winded.

The picture of a man reading a book that nearly got me banned off the forum :-(
It’s one of my favourite test carvings I did when I first used uccnc.

Positive addition to the forum!

I might add a suggestion... before anyone is banned it should be reviewed by the all the moderators to make sure individual personal feelings or basis aren't playing a part. It should be a consensus with the moderators to ban a member. Also Vmax is removed as a moderator seeing he's decided to leave the forum on a bad note.

I really don't see anyone being banned here. It takes a sppecial kind of person to get banned from a forum like this. ;)

Well...........I'm just calling it how I see it and this is how I see it.
To me that picture APPEARS to be designed with the sole intent to first look like a woman giving a blow job to the guy (let's not beat around the bush here), and secondly as a man reading a book.

When I first viewed it, I was a bit shocked. I had to actually study it a little to see the book and it's pages (a bunch of wavy lines that look like the womans hair, not how book pages normally are), the guys left leg which appears as the the womans left arm, and his right left which has just the right curvature to appear as the womans back. Also the guys eyes don't appear to be looking at the book

Having kids I personally don't like pictures like this being publicly shown, but that's as far as I take it. However, I do appreciate the skill/talent the artist has. Terry I believe, is a very strong Christian so I can see how this picture will have upset him.
Getting back to the pages of the book, look at the right side. It appears the artist has deliberately rounded the corners of the pages to create the look of a womans head/hair. The point I'm making is I could not blame a moderator/admin for considering this picture to be first of a pornographic nature, because I think it has been designed with that intent/purpose.

I'll have to take it to work and do some experimenting. I'll show it around and it will be interesting how many see the book first
