I get a "File not found (404 error)" when i try to connect.

Your browser is trying to use https://
Make sure you are using http://, without the "s".
Sorry, but I can't justify paying the $100/year for the "s", and the free methods are a pita.

I'm upgrading my PC to Windows 11.

Can I use the 2017 Screenset, or do I need the 2022 Screenset?

Depends on which version of UCCNC you'll be using.
2017 for UCCNC versions 1.2047-1.2049
2022 for versions 1.2113-1.2115
