Hi everyone
This is my first post on a cnc forum, thank you for accepting me here.
I have build in past 2018 a Openbuilds solution with arduino the ox cnc version with 1500x1500mm.
After two months i extended the base to 1500x3000mm until now that i have decided to build a new one more stronger and a little bigger.
So this post start with my first wirings and case mounting with UCCNC installed and runing one axis in test.
I'm upgrading my knowledge from Grbl 1.1f to UCCNC and i must say this software is very very good and impressive.

Here are some images, i will updating posts for this build and will make a final manual installation of this Machine in the end.

I'm wiring now all together and testing some measurements to fine tune the motors and axis.
It's very dificult here in Portugal to find some tools to make precise things.

It's the first time i'm installing hi win guides and a rack and pinion system.
When i slide the axis it's very smooth on all dimension of the axis so i thing it's ok.

Each controller personal power supply is an unjustified cash expense.

My drive is a SS880 ( Hybrid Step Servo Driver)
- 32-bit DSP based vector control algorithm to combine advantage of open-loop stepper brushless servo drives
- Step/Direction or CW/CCW command input
- Default maximum 200K frequency; 500K optional
- Input voltage: 20-80 VAC, or 36-110 VDC
- Load-based automatically adjusted output current of 0-8.2A

My power suplies are 350w, 60 VDC, 5.6A with input 220v / 110v

For the 4 motors what you thing it would be enouth? Because i can keep the others for replacement when one shutsdown or damage.
It's enough to put just one for all 4 axis?

One of the motors is runing, very smooth and very quiet without measurements until now just testing speeds, motor went to 20000 mm/m without problems with uccnc.
I did not continue the test because i had not the motor fixed to anything but i think this motors can go much further, but for my work i doubt i will need somthing more that 5k.

Inductance is a large motor: 8.4 mH/phase, 60 volts for the driver will be small.
For an engine with this inductance, 100 VDC is needed.

You can try to reduce the voltage to 50 volts on power supplies and connect in series.

Oh my God!;-(
How many torque can i loose for now for each motor if i turn on with this configuration? About 40%?
I didn´t expect this, i order the complete kit and thought it was ok.
For now and to finish the project i have to put this and star thinking to order new ones if necessary.

You always have time to buy. We expose on power supplies of 55 volts and connect in series. We get a power supply of 700 watts 110 volts 5.6 amperes.

Thank you Nikolay for this information, i will google for wiring in future.
Perhaps i will lose torque from 12 to 7kn/m.

Since i'm using on older build nema 23 with arduino, i think i will not notice that i guess.
But it will be something i will consider in near future.

I'm finishing the box case now but i'm with some questions and don´t know if this is the right place or i need to ask or see post links with this answers.
What i want to do is to put buttons/switches on the case to Start Cycle, Pause/Stop Cycle and Resume Cycle, is this possible?
Another feature i want to try is when i power on the machine, do a automatic home and probe whatever the tool is inserted.
This is because i will have for about 5 or 6 routine cycles to cut circles (top tables) always with same standart dimensions and anyone can load the mdf, power on the machine and open file and start.
