Hello, I have a question regarding the Axxis setup. My spindles are 16x4, normal Nema 24 stepper motors, stepper drives set to 1600 microsteps.

Steps per Unit: ???

Of course I used the Calibrate function (result=412.371134...), but then 360mm became ~380mm, all measures where too high.


Any idea?

If on the motor one turn is 1600 steps and one turn moves 4mm then you need a quarter turn to move 1 unit (mm), so it will be 1600/4=400 steps/unit.
