Background color of Tool Path Screen

How do I get a black background on the Tool Path screen? I have set any color that should relate to it on the Appearance screen, but the background remains white.

Exactly what is the background called, and where (if not Appearance screen) would I find it?

Thanks

It is the background color setting in the appearance menu, but after changing it you have to press the Apply settings button just like for everything in the UCCNC to validate the changes in the settings.

I have that set to black and did the apply and save. It has always been that way.
However it is not showing that.
I am using Gerry's screenset 2022 if that matters. I'm attaching screen shots

It works fine here, so I don't know what could be the problem.
Gerry can you test this please with your screenset?

George,
If you click on the black square, does the color picker open up?
It works fine for me here, I can change the background to any color.

If you click the Edit Screen button, then click on the background colored square, does the screen editor look like this?

Thanks Gerry
I tried other colors and on the third time it started to show correctly. Maybe my old computer?

Anyway, now working correctly.
