1.2116 won't start

I had 1.2113 running with some "small" problems (reproducable crash when finishing axis-calibration, reproducable bsod when changing the jogging-speed more than once), but running.

As I'm retrofitting a lathe, I installed 1.2116 on top of 1.2113 and the first start of 1.2116 ended in a crash. I uninstalled uccnc, checked that nothing is left in the registry, disabled unnecessary tools in autostart and installed fresh. But still no chance, the demo-choice-table comes up, after that the loading-bar won't get beyond 0% and then comes the crash.

My PC is a mini-pc with Intel Atom N2800, 4GB Ram, 64GB SSD and Windows 7-32 Pro.

What can i do, to get an idea, where the heart of the matter is?

It is probably an OpenGL problem. Try to update your video card drivers.
UCCNC 1.2116 requires higher OpenGL version than the previous UCCNC versions.

Thanks for the hint. I found a newer driver from 2013 for this powerhouse... But although the integrated gpu supports open-gl, the drivers do not fully support it. So no luck.

I now installed the mesa 3D driver, and that does the trick, at least a bit. Uccnc now starts, but the program seems to run in slow motion. Every click needs 2 seconds to be acknoledged. Maybe i find another hint for this problem. The 1.2113 was lightning-fast...

It's strange, because we changed to newer OpenGL functions to make the 3D graphics to run faster and more efficient which is true for the computers I saw so far.
I think that something is probably wrong in the implementation of framebuffers on your computer, but so far I did not see this kind of problem, so I don't know what it could be.

I see you mentioned you have 32 bits Windows, I would try to install 64 bits Windows 7 or 10 and check if it fixes the issue.

64 bits is no alternative, because there are no working drivers for this crappy integrated GPU. The Mesa 3D driver is a software-driver, hence the slow motion...

I guess, I'll have to use a different mini-pc. I have a I5-7500T, 8GB RAM, Win 10 Pro 64bit. It was planned for another machine. Hopefully that will do it.

That PC works well with 1.2116.
