Step/Direction 5V0 connection on AXBB-E?

Postby spillage » Sun Apr 23, 2023 9:58 pm

In the AXBB-E manual:

11. Example Wiring shows it connected to 5V0 on the “Power Input” block of terminals (or the power supply).

9.2 text would suggest using 5V0 on the “Power Out” block of terminals.

8. The label and logic might suggest using 5V0 on the “Port 1 non isolated outputs” block of terminals.

Which is the correct location to connect the 5V0 of Step/Direction drivers?

The labels with the same name are common on the board.
For example all the 5V0 are the same potential, so you can connect any of them, however ofcourse it is the best to connect to the one in the closest proximity to the step/dir signals.
