Home sequence Z, X, Y, A problems

Postby luci5544@yahoo.com » Mon Jan 02, 2023 4:30 pm

I switched from mach3 to uccnc and I have a problem. I built a cnc with two motors on the y axis. in mach3 we had the home sequence Z, X, Y, A and the motors moved Z, X, Y and A simultaneously, and the last one moved only A. In UCCNC I set the same home sequence Z, X, Y, A but after the simultaneous movement of the motors for Y Home, nothing happens for A Home. How do I set the X and Y axis square? I have AXBB-E controler.

Make sure the A is slaved to Y, and just set the homing for Z, X, and Y. The A should home along with the Y.

A axis is set slave. But how do I set the X and Y axis square and how do I restore it in case I lost steps?

In mach3, by changing the position of the a-axis home sensor, the home position can be adjusted independently of the y-axis, although the a-axis is a slave to the y-axis. The a-axis motor moves independently only after it has homed the y-axis and only for homing, otherwise it moves synchronously. Every time you do homing, the position of the a-axis is reset and the lost steps are removed.

Thanks, I solved it last night. You have to set different inputs for the Y-axis and A-axis sensors for it to work. Example: Z, X, Y ON INPUT 1 and A on input 2
