UC400ETH: No Movement in Y Axis AFTER A Axis Installed/Remov

Greetings.

I recently replaced a bad bob with the UCSB bob and everything was great for several days and tests - until I attached the rotary A axis.

All 4 axes moved correctly initially. After I shut down and restarted UCCNC, the Y-axis became unresponsive. It has remained so, even after I have done the following;

1. De-activated in UCCNC then disconnected the A-axis from the bob.
2. Reversed changes made to the Y-axis by unchecking the Dir positive box and the Dir pin's Active low box. I wanted to correct the direction of movement of the Y axis and had checked the Dir positive box in error.
3. Completely uninstalled and re-installed UCCNC.

In every instance above, I applied and saved changes then shut down and restarted UCCNC.

What am I doing wrong please?

Many thanks in advance.

Maybe your Y drive is dead.
Try to exchange the drive with another one to see if it fixes the issue.

Many thanks for the suggestion.

I found out that it was effectively dead because the "Step" cable had come loose.

I am up and running now.
