fix home on Z axis

Wonder if anyone can help me.
I have a Stepcraft M1000 and when I manually move Z up it stops without a problem at 89.36. But when I press home Z it moves up to 91.25 and throws the external limit switch. My question is: Is there a way I can set the Z home position to 89.36?
