Newbie Probe Question

As a UCCNC newbie, I am trying to use the probe capability and I am having a problem. When I hit the "Start Probing" button I get the following error...

Cannot run probe!
Warning! Rotate is active!

For the life of me, I cannot figure out what rotation is active and how to deactivate the rotation. I have looked through the manual and the forum without any luck.

Can someone provide help?

Thanks,

Lauren

I guess, it means G68 rotation is active.
G68 is rotation of Work Coordinate System aka WCS. But when G68 is active, you can not probe.
On your screen, there should be line full of different G1, G17, G49.....etc. That is Active modal panel and basically tells you, what is currently active. Take a look, if there is G68. If yes, simply write G69 (reset the rotation) to the MDI and probing should work.

G68 was not active. I had to uninstall and reinstall the UCCNC software to get the touch probe to work properly. All seem ok now. Go figure....

(Note there were other issues also (with the VistaCNC pendant) and these were corrected after the reinstall. Not sure what happen during the original installation.)
