Pulley settings again

Hi all,

I need a little help. I am having trouble with the pulley settings. These are my settings:

I put the M215 P1 command at the very beginning of the milling file:

Code: Select all
(20220723-1)
(T11  D=6. CR=0. - ZMIN=-14.9 - Schaftfraser)
(T25  D=5. CR=0. TAPER=90deg - ZMIN=-2.5 - Konische Senkung)
(T27  D=13. CR=1. - ZMIN=-1. - Planfraser)
G90
G0 G53 Z0.

(Planen1)
T27 M6
(Wendeplatte)
M215 P1
S8000 M3
G64 P0.01
G54
G43 H27
M8
.....

A "M3 S8000" should then drive the spindle motor with approx. 13722 rpm. But this does not work. The motor turns with 8000 rpm, not the spindle. If I enter the necessary commands by hand, it sometimes works, sometimes not.

Am I doing anything wrong?

Peter

Same answer in this thread:

The only way to do anything with M215 is the following procedure directly after starting UCCNC:

M3
M215 P1
S4000
M5

After that I can load a nc program and then the pulley ratio is also correct. So a S5000 for example sets the motor to 8576 rpm. Of course this works only until UCCNC is terminated. At the next start you have to do this procedure again. It makes no sense to use M215 in a nc program. In this case there is no reaction from UCCNC at all.

It's a pity that no one was able to help me further. I think that a transmission between the motor and spindle is not a particularly unique case. The documentation does not show the required sequence. It is only briefly addressed M215 with parameter Px.
