Wiring a 5th Axis on Isolated Output - AXBB-E

Hi there

I have the folow configuration with AXBB-E board with X, Y1, Y2 and Zaxis.
I need to wire a rotary axis and my doubt is if i can wire this rotary axis to 2 pins of isolated outputs.
The imaghe shows how i have the configuration.

Other question is the driver for the rotary axis needs 5volt on Step+ and Dir+, so it's there any problem with this configuration?
THank you in advance for your information.
regards,
Ricardo

This will not work this way, the O1..O8 outputs are open collector outputs. I recommend using the outputs on port #3 if you can connect there.

Hi again
Just remember that since i have y1 and y2 as a slave of y1 axis, can i put this two together receiving same signals to free up to outputs for my rotary axis.

I know that i have to twist o e par on motor side but is this possible?
Thank you in advance.

I mean this option.

Yes, it is, but this way you cannot square the gantry.

Thank you very much, it's resolved.
Since i'm using just one limit switch for each axis and defined hard limits werever i need to square the gantry, i can use this to free up one axis.

In near future i will buy your breakout board to complete the setup. My gantry is very rigid and it's usualy squared.

Resolved. Thanks
