License will not move to new computer

Hello,
I cannot get my license to be recognized on a new computer I am trying to use. I save it to a thumb drive from UCCNC and paste it into the new computer folder with UC100 connected but it continues to run in demo. I gave up and just continued to use this laptop its been working on but it has suddenly developed the cannot find screenset problem. I guess I will need to reload UCCNC to fix that so I would like to switch over. I am dead in the water. Thanks for any help.
