Trying to get my head around how to wire up my cnc, and a couple of question have come up, as I am new this.

Looking at wiring in npn proximity sensor, the diagram in the litrature talks about I+ and I-, with + also tied to 24Vdc and +vdc on the sensor, the - being tied to sensor out, do you need to use 2 physical connection? Software manual seems to only specify selecting one.

Am I just being stupid of missing something?

Also are there any example wiring diagrams out there for a typical setup?

The UCBB users manual page 11. has a drawing of how to connect a sensor with NPN output to the input of the UCBB.
