uccnc configuration

I can't seem to change my configuration settings. How do you do that? If I type in a new one and hit apply , it reverts back to what was stored. Thanks Duane

Hit the Enter key after typing it in. There's also an option to not require the Enter key.

Also you can remove the tick from the Configuration/Appearance/Validate textfields with enter key only checkbox and Apply the settings and then you do not have to press the Enter key,
but the DROs will then validate when you leave the DRO anyways.

the enter key works, but if I close uccnc when I restart it the old settings are back. How do I change them for good. Could it be the stepcraft file loading when I start uccnc?

Apply Settings, then Save Settings.

If values do not save then you may have the profile file or the UCCNC directory or it's Profiles subdirectory write protected. (Right click, properties, security on the folder/file)
Or your user account in Windows has no rights to write to that folder. You can try to run the UCCNC with administrative rights (right click on the UCCNC icon and run as admin...)
