Hi, I'm using proximity switches on the limits of a machine and we are having an issue where the signal is not constant, the hard limit is flashing on and off when the limit is made, the problem is that when you press the override limits the signal might break for a moment and then the override limits turns off before you actually move the axis and the process starts all over again, my question is can the override limit be made active until it is pressed again to turn off, I don't want it to auto turn off.

No, you can't do that. The override limit automatically resets as soon as the limit condition deactivates.
One idea I have to overcome this problem is to configure one input as a limit input of an unused axis and connect a pushbutton to that input.
Then you could activate the limit with the button, so you could jog off the limit switch properly even if the limit switch is not giving a continous signal you can still hold the limit condition on using the pushbutton.
And switch the limit condition off with releasing the pushbutton when you done with the jogging off.
