uc300eth w ucbb

HI Everybody

I am new to the forum, I did read through a lot of the threads, and did find some partial answers. But still cant work out the settings for spindle control. I would need to control the speed of a chinese VFD 2,2. I understand that the since the UCBB has no analog port, this has to be done through the uc300 analog port. There I connect analog output and gnd, up to the vfd VI and ACM. In the software on the I/O page I set "Spindle PWM-> analog ch." here I assume If I set say pin 6 on the UC300 which is output 1 then I would use analog ch 1. Then I would go to pwm setup where I need to give a pin and a port, now I assume here the pin corresponds to the pin I used on the analog port in this case 6, but what would I put down for port 1?? Mabe. Anyway if anybody has any suggestions it would be greatly appriciated.

thank you.

You don't need a port and pin, because you are using an analog channel.
You don't specify the analog pins, just the channels.

Szia!

Üdvözöllek a fórumon! :)

As Gerry wrote, select PWM spindle. Set the min/max duty and the min/max spindle velocity. Then in the I/O setup select the analog channel for spindle PWM: it can be 1 or 2.
