regen toolpath ?

i come from mach3 and used to have to click "regen toolpath" everytime
you brought in a new toolpath and had setup your work offsets .

i dont see a regen toolpath button in uccnc anywhere ..

how does it work in uccnc ?

There is a "reload" button next to the toolpath viewer.

Was wondering if that's what that button did
Or was there just incase you edited the file and wanted to reload the file .

You can see how reload and regen can have different meaning to folks

The reload button reloads the currently loaded file.
The naming "regen" is wrong/missleading in Mach3, because it actually reloads the file just like what the reload button does in the UCCNC.
When you editing the loaded g-code file with the UCCNC file edit function and changing anything in it's content then the UCCNC automatically reloads the file when you finish the editing.

strange . when i click regen in mach3 i can see the layout actually change on the screen
after i set the work start point.

not a programmer but it appears to have change the location to the same as the spindle work start .
